The subject studies the properties of shapes that are preserved during continuous deformations—stretching, compression, or bending. Students learn the basic concepts and methods of general topology and use them in problems related to the development of applied fields of mathematics. At the same time, students use their mathematical knowledge to study the properties of figures that do not change in continuous transformations of topology.

Group work, method of problem work, method of mini-research, method of improving professional skills.
