The discipline contributes to the formation of the foundations of professional ethics and culture of speech, mastering various types of speech activity, the ability to conduct conversations with students; mastering the basics of speech skills. As a result of studying the course, students master the basic ideas, principles and rules of general and professional (pedagogical) rhetoric, the basics of the technique of rhetorical argumentation and polemical skill, ways to overcome barriers in pedagogical communication, the main genres of pedagogical speech.
