Purpose:
This discipline teaches undergraduates the need to pay attention to the psychological aspects of learning in the process of learning a foreign language, teaches techniques to increase the interest and motivation of students to learn a foreign language. The discipline provides an introductory theoretical analysis of a number of important issues in the field of psychology of teaching a foreign language. This course helps students to master some linguistic aspects of a foreign language. These issues are considered in four different aspects: teacher, student, context and tasks. The development of critical thinking skills is aimed at familiarization with special types of reading, which are analyzed and discussed in the educational process. "Psychological problems in language teaching" contribute to the development of cognitive, research, communicative and professional competence of students in the learning process.
