The study of this discipline is aimed at preparing a specialist in the field of preschool education for the implementation of mathematical development of preschoolers. The course forms the understanding of psychological and pedagogical features of the development of mathematical representations of children among future teachers of preschool organizations, familiarization of students with modern forms, means and methods of teaching, planning and analysis of pedagogical activity. Students acquire the skills of planning organized activities, playing with children, taking notes, conducting experimental work.

Teamwork, critical thinking, brainstorming, developmental learning method, creative learning methods, teamwork, problem-based work method, mini-research method, professional development method. For students with disabilities, together with structural units, the teacher of the discipline can change the methods, forms of training, form of control and the amount of time for the introduction of specialized adaptive disciplines (modules)
