Literary criticism gives an aesthetic assessment to a work of art, differentiates how the depicted reality of life has become an artistic reality, explains its essence, defines the present-day features of literary life, and points the way. One of the differences between literary criticism and literary history is that it analyzes today's works and evaluates them in terms of the requirements of the current period. A person who has read a literary work cannot express his opinion and point of view about it. Literary criticism is a mentor that guides the student. Although criticism was born in ancient times, for a long time it could not go beyond the degree of the authors liking or disliking a work of art. As the genres of literature began to be classified and flourished, the purpose and task of literary criticism became stronger.
