The discipline teaches students the methodology of scientific and pedagogical research, facts, patterns and mechanisms of the studied activity and the principles and methods of scientific cognition of its transformation. As a result, when teaching physics, the methodological foundations of research, the components of pedagogical research, the difference between practical research and scientific and pedagogical, the direction of research, the main characteristics, the topic, the relevance of the research topic, the processing and generalization of research results are assimilated.
