The discipline teaches students the issues of updating the content and methodology of the development of functional literacy of schoolchildren. As a result of mastering the discipline, students master the factors influencing the development of functional literacy of students in accordance with PISA and TIMSS studies, and also acquire skills in selecting and developing tasks based on the formation and evaluation of educational activities for physics lessons that ensure functional literacy of students.
