It is intended to prepare students for professional activity in secondary schools and secondary specialized educational institutions of higher pedagogical education and fully contains the content of program materials included in the school mathematics course. The elementary mathematics course is a node linking the basic mathematical courses, which are considered the theoretical foundations of teaching mathematics.
