The purpose of the course "English children's literature" is to form children's literature, sets of written works and illustrations that accompany them, to introduce young people to a hobby or training. The genre includes a wide range of works, including classics of world literature, described books and easy-to-read stories for children only, as well as fairy tales, cradles, short stories, folk songs, and other often oral materials.
