The discipline is aimed at theoretical and practical training of future teachers to teach the subject of "Physical Culture" in elementary grades.  As a result of studying the discipline, the student acquires knowledge about the forms and methods of organizing physical education, the features of building a physical education lesson, extracurricular physical education work, studies effective methods and techniques of conducting physical education with students in accordance with their physiological characteristics.
