The module explores organic chemistry, cellular differentiation of living organisms, molecular evolution, biological membranes, structure and function of cellular organelles, biomolecules involved in metabolic pathways, and basic genetic concepts in health. During the course, students learn basic human development at the level of molecules, cells, organs and systems, preparing them to use communication skills, modern information technologies and ethical principles in teamwork.
