The subject introduces the anatomical and physiological features of the tooth and root canals, teaches classification, etiopathogenesis, pathomorphological changes, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and principles of treatment of pulp and periodontal diseases. During the course, students learn the skills of examining root canals using modern devices, microscopes and apex locators, planning surgical treatment based on scientific evidence, effective treatment methods and control skills through continuous self-assessment
