The discipline allows students to develop knowledge and skills in the field of computational mathematics. Students learn algebraic and transcendental equations, methods and algorithms for numerical solutions of systems of linear and nonlinear algebraic equations, methods for integrating and approximating Cauchy problems for simple differential equations and systems. Be able to choose the optimal means and methods of mathematics in solving applied and fundamental problems, apply the methods of computational mathematics in solving important applied problems.
