The module teaches constantly developing and updated knowledge at the level of organs and systems, stages and pathogenetic mechanisms of cell and tissue damage, types of inflammation, disorders of the circulatory system.

During the course, using scientific achievements, based on self-assessment and lifelong learning, the forms of development and morphological features of inflammatory types of the body are determined.

Uses ethical principles in teamwork in the learning process.

Practical exercises: oral analysis, problem solving, completing tasks and exercises, consolidating practical skills: performing practical work included in the curriculum, effective feedback on mastering competencies, MCQ, PAL, SAQ, SGL, TaskBL - the appropriate teaching method is selected for the specifics of the discipline.

Independent work of students with a teacher (SROP):in-depth study of the issues discussed in previous practical classes, topics for self-study and consultations with the teacher on emerging issues.

Independent work of students (SRO):independent study of these topics performed in the form of practice, work with computer models and programs, preparation of the presentation of abstracts, work in small groups, work with additional literature, independent solution of test tasks, preparation and defense of scientific abstracts.

The form of control and the amount of time for students with disabilities, the criteria for evaluating learning outcomes can be changed by the teacher of the discipline.

7LOM7 -should be able to explain how the metabolism and effects of drugs differ between people/ethnic groups depending on genetic characteristics, stages of the drug development process and their mechanisms
8LOM9 - must be able to explain radioactivity, types of radiation used in medicine, and basic concepts on the topic.
9LOM10- be able to understand the interaction of radiation with biological systems and the principles of radiation protection
10LOM12 - it is necessary to analyze the biochemistry of leukocytes and the safety mechanisms of oxidative stress.
11LOM13 - must be able to interpret rheumatic diseases and laboratory tests used in their control
