The purpose of the discipline is to teach the theoretical and practical foundations of modern directions of Strategic Management, as well as to contribute to the development of modern methods of strategic management, to form strategic actions, to analyze strategic positions for the firm, to master the tools of analysis. At the same time, attention is paid to new classes of strategic management tools, effective factors of technological development and competition. When forming a strategy, an understanding of the organization's social responsibility and the impact of social forces are taken into account.
