The discipline is aimed at deepening and generalizing the theoretical and methodological problems of preparing preschoolers for literacy. After studying the course, students should master the following skills and abilities: develop speaking and listening skills; phonemic hearing; grammatical structure of speech; fine motor skills of hands; show interest and attention to the word, their word and the speech of others; enrich the vocabulary; improve the speech culture of children; teach sound-syllabic analysis of words; read syllables and words.
