The purpose of the discipline is to provide objective knowledge about the main stages of the development of the history of Kazakhstan from ancient times to the present, the creation of a scientifically based concept of the history of Kazakhastan, based on a holistic and objective coverage of the main stages of the ethnogenesis of the Kazakh people, the evolution of forms of statehood and civilization on the territory of the Great Steppe, the systematization of historical knowledge about the main events of modern history, forming a scientific worldview and a civic position.
