Studies the history, genre specificity of the Kazakh folk oral literature, distinguishes the versatility and syncretism of folklore, studies the stages of formation and development of the Kazakh folklore. He also has knowledge of the multifaceted nature of the heritage of oral literature, the peculiarities of fertility, distribution, preservation, classification of genres, methods of division of genre species.
