The purpose of the subject: to provide students with an understanding of the nature, evolution and laws of the phenomenon of fake news; ability to deal with false information, information manipulation, fake news. As a result of studying the subject, students will consider the following issues: the practice and methodology of fact-checking, methods of countering disinformation in the modern media environment, new programs and applications that help readers check the accuracy of online content will be studied.
