The purpose of the discipline is to teach writing grammatical and stylistic features of the English language. Reading, understanding, vocabulary use and critical evaluation of academic texts are also an integral goal of the discipline. The result is the ability to write academic text of diverse categories in English. The student acquires academic English language skills by involving them in listening, speaking, reading, writing and grammar classes that are relevant to professional work.
