During the course of studying the subject, undergraduates compare epic works describing the exploits of heroes of Western European countries and heroic poems of Kazakh literature from a comprehensive literary point of view. In addition, graduate students comprehensively consider the plot aspects of epic works of Western European countries. Learns to analyze the epic works of Western European countries from a stylistic point of view. The subject of the Western epic tradition introduces students to the epic works that describe the exploits of the heroes of the Western European countries, and accustoms the undergraduates to analyze these epic works from a literary point of view.
