Formation of professional competence of a specialist, which determines the ability to solve professional tasks of teaching a foreign language in a higher school. The course is interdisciplinary in its content and is aimed at synthesizing and combining students' business and skills, knowledge about the basic categories of theory and methodology of English language teaching. The development of a specialist's professional competence establishes their capacity to handle the demands of teaching foreign languages in upper education. The course's content is multidisciplinary and aims to combine and synthesize students' business and skill knowledge with their understanding of the fundamental theoretical categories and English language teaching technique.
