The discipline teaches undergraduates to conduct empirical research, developing knowledge in the field of methodological foundations of research. In the course of studying the discipline, undergraduates form the skills of working with scientific literature, drawing up a research plan, building a hypothesis, analyzing problematic issues during the development and conduct of an experiment, including experimental methods of research design, surveys, open interviews and observations, learn to identify and justify the main types of scientific research.
