The discipline involves the formation of students' professional skills in the theory and methodology of musical education of preschoolers. As a result of studying the course, the student gets acquainted with the theoretical foundations of musical education and development of preschool children, the characteristics of the system of musical and pedagogical process, types of musical activity (child listener, child performer, child designer) and masters the forms of musical activity of children, types, genres of musical art, the content of programs.

Preschool pedagogy
Group work, critical thinking, brainstorming, the method of developmental learning, creative teaching methods, the method of problem writing. For students with disabilities, together with structural units, the teacher of the discipline can change the methods, forms of training, form of control and the amount of time for the introduction of specialized adaptive disciplines (modules)
