The discipline forms knowledge about the types, functions, diversity of herbarium collections and the currents of herbariums. The student, based on the skills of describing, comparing systematic groups of plants, masters the skills of collecting and drying, manufacturing and storing, identifying and labeling herbarium specimens. Carries out measures for protecting plants in nature by carefully collecting rare endangered plant species.
