The subject forms knowledge about the types, functions, variety and creation methods of herbarium collections and the current state of herbarium work. In the course of mastering the subject, the student learns the methods of making herbarium specimens, using computer detectors, showing the ability to describe and compare plants. By carefully collecting rare and endangered plant species, they are able to protect the vegetation of nature and solve the problems of biodiversity.
