The discipline contributes to mastering the basic theoretical knowledge of cartography and topography. Forms cartographic approaches to the representation of phenomena on general geographic and thematic maps, generalization and classification skills of maps and atlases. The student is able to recognize the necessary information from maps, confidently determining the spatial relationships between mapping objects. He is trained in the development of topographic maps using extensive information resources on acquired skills.
