The discipline forms a holistic view of the essence of the global division of labor and the directions of its deepening from the point of view of the continuity of economics and politics in complex processes taking place within the framework of globalization and internationalization of the economy. As a result of mastering the discipline, the student determines the role and place of Kazakhstan in the global economy, analyzes the problems of socio-economic development of the countries of the world community, formulates the main trends and prospects for the development of the world economy.
