The discipline forms knowledge about the essence and significance of economic growth, teaches the specifics of prerequisites and models for achieving long-term economic growth. The student develops the skills of assessing the impact of the state's economic policy on economic growth and a detailed analysis of such important research areas as the relationship between the political structure of society and economic development, practical verification of theoretical models of economic growth.
