The purpose of the discipline is to form knowledge about the history of diplomacy and world experience, the diplomatic and consular service and the modern diplomatic service of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As well as the formation of knowledge about the basic concepts and terms of the discipline being studied; the key definitions of the Vienna Convention, the principles of diplomacy, the diplomatic and consular service of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The student develops skills to analyze diplomatic strategy and tactics, characteristic features, specific features of the diplomatic and consular service.

1LO 1- studies the negotiation experience of famous diplomats of the world and develops negotiation skills
2LO 2- develops organizational, oral and written communication skills necessary for negotiations.
3LO 3- develops the ability to introduce basic theories, structures, subjects of international relations;
4LO 4 - acquires the ability to analyze and evaluate the foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the world political system and order.
5LO 5- develops the skill of competently and skillfully drafting diplomatic documents in accordance with the requirements.
6LO 6- develops the ability to use diplomatic terms orally and in writing.
7LO 7- learns to competently observe the rules of diplomatic etiquette and protocol in business relations
8LO 8 - improves the ability to use multilateral, grassroots, digital forms of diplomacy.
