The purpose of the subject is to teach undergraduates how to prepare articles for publications in accordance with the requirements of scientific ethics and academic integrity within the framework of general academic principles. As a result of studying the subject, the graduate student learns the methods of composing the text of articles, types of academic records and ways of using international databases, prepares articles according to the requirements of various scientific journals and develops the skills of working with online systems (sites) of journals. The course uses the method of scientific data analysis.
In the course of teaching the subject, students will develop the following competencies: knowledge of the main features of academic scientific writings aimed at peer-reviewed journals (domestic, foreign); to know the types of methods of composing the text of the article; learning the types of academic subscription, ways of using world databases and learning the online system of domestic journals; To know the features of international scientific databases and various scientific publications, to know the ways of composing an article text, to learn how to write an article structure in accordance with the requirements of the journal.
