The discipline studies the theoretical and applied fundamentals of biotechnology, masters the principles and practical methods of culturing cells, tissues, organs isolated from various organisms in vitro. As a result of mastering the discipline, the student masters the skills of obtaining cell cultures, choosing physiological, biochemical features of cells, modern methods and techniques of genetic engineering, determining aspects of the use of pure cultures in the branches of the national economy.
