The purpose of studying the discipline "Fundamentals of qualification of criminal offenses against the person" is to study by students the general provisions and features of the criminal-legal qualification of crimes against the person, mastering the socio-political significance and legal content of the norms providing criminal-legal protection of the individual. As a result of studying the discipline, the student masters the theoretical foundations of the qualification of crimes, masters the skills of considering the controversial issues of qualification of certain types of crimes against the person that have emerged in theory and practice, stable skills and abilities to apply criminal law norms.
