The content of the course analyzes scientific conclusions about the current problems of migration policy in the conditions of independent Kazakhstan, the peculiarities of development and methodological problems of modern demographic processes, the main statistical indicators of the population census, and forecasts the prospects for their development. The Master's student systematizes the current state of the theory and practice of demographic policy on the basis of interdisciplinary knowledge. Studies the racial, linguistic, ethnic, and religious composition of the population of Kazakhstan, uses research methods of demographic and migration processes.
