The content of the course analyzes the fundamental problems and topical issues of national history based on the theoretical and methodological principles of historical research. The master student studies sources and historiographical research on topical issues of national history, the concept of foreign and domestic scientific schools in the context of history, evaluates the role of tradition in the study of national history, and the processes of integration of national cultural and spiritual values.

1LOC1 - is able to critically analyze and evaluate fundamental problems and topical problems of national history on the basis of theoretical and methodological principles of historical research of topical problems of national history, features of historical periods of national history.
2LOC2 - The historiography of the history of Kazakhstan in the ancient and Turkic eras and the national history of the XIII-XVII centuries predicts the prospects for the development of historical trends through scientific modeling of historiographical features.
3LOC3- Analyzes the processes of integration of national cultural and spiritual values in the issues of historical views, culture of the Turkic peoples, ethnic and political continuity of the Mongolian uluses and the Kazakh Khanate associated with the ethnic and political foundations of tribal unions and Turkic khaganates on the territory of ancient Kazakhstan.
4LOC4- Analyzes the current problems of the national history of new, modern and independent Kazakhstan, the main events and processes of socio-economic, political and spiritual life of Kazakhstan and the states of the world, the most important achievements of the system of culture and values
