The purpose of the discipline is to form the ability to assess the relationship of the composition, structure and properties of metals and their compounds based on the periodic law. The main subgroup elements I, II, III in the periodic table and D-elements, the structure and properties of f-elements are studied. Conducts chemical experiments to study the properties, ways of obtaining and reaction abilities of metals and their compounds.
