The main themes, tasks and functions of the subject Psychology of religiosity at the present stage of development of society, psychological studies of religious phenomena, place in the system of religious knowledge are considered. As a result of mastering the discipline, a master student develops the ability to analyze social and religious phenomena of the psyche; understand, present and critically analyze the essence of the scientific approach to the study of the psychology of religious experience, religious faith; highlight the social and psychological aspects of religious rituals and cults.
