The discipline forms knowledge about the main methods of biological purification of water sources. In the process of mastering the discipline, the student, learns to use the acquired knowledge about the processes of bioremediation, the types of bacteria and microorganisms used for water purification to master the methods of surface water purification and the use of biological treatment plant systems, able can conduct research on biological purification of water sources in educational, field and laboratory conditions, using modern equipment.
