The subject forms knowledge about the physical and chemical processes that shape the weather and climate of our planet. The student learns to use the wide range of educational resources in the study of astronomical, geophysical and geographical factors that determine the formation of the earth's climate, natural fluctuations, the role of anthropogenic factors in the present period. The student learns to use cartographic resources in the analysis of primary meteorological information using daily synoptic maps and satellite images.
