The analysis of the views of modern Islamic thinkers on religious and philosophical topics, the stages of development of free thought in religion and philosophy, the principles of religious philosophy since the emergence of the science of kalam, the rationalistic views of kalam schools in the Muslim world are considered. As a result of studying the discipline, undergraduates are able to demonstrate the role of kalam science in the history of the Turkic peoples and the improvement of the culture of religious thought in the Kazakh land.
