The course deals with the main trends in the field of tafsir and their characteristics, new methods of interpretation of Qur'anic verses. As a result of the study of the subject, the graduate student learns the semantic meanings of the words in the Qur'anic verses, the meaning connections between the verses, the importance of time and circumstances in the exegesis of the verses. Graduate students will learn to use modern methods in the exegesis of the Qur'an and will be able to theologically analyze the positions of exegesis written in different religious directions.
