The discipline teaches the student to determine the composition of a crime in criminal activity, to differentiate a crime, to apply punishment in accordance with the criminal law and to apply the norms establishing the basis of criminal liability for certain types of criminal offenses, the corresponding types of punishments imposed. In the process of studying the discipline, the skills of critical analysis of criminal law norms, legal assessment of criminal law situations, and making specific decisions in accordance with the legislation of criminal law relations are formed.
