To explain the importance of ancient Greek as a classical language, introducing students to the alphabet of the Greek language formed in ancient Greece, the grammar of the Greek language. In addition, students will be introduced to comprehensive information about the contribution of thinkers in ancient Greece to the development of linguistics, as well as discuss the best works of ancient Greek literature. The course forms students’ ideas about the subject of classical philology and the main stages of development from the moment of its formation. The purpose of the course is to improve students ' knowledge of the linguistic, source science, theoretical and historical-literary components of classical philology.
