The discipline forms knowledge about the microscopic structure of cells and functions, metabolic processes in a cells, relationships with the external environment. As a result of mastering the discipline, student carries out biological research, using modern equipment, with acquisition of the technique of developing cytological, histological preparations, formulates the results of research aimed at determining the essence of the structure and activity of systems at various levels.
