The purpose of the discipline is a comprehensive and systemically problematic study of the processes of world development, the peculiarities of the process of globalization and regionalism in international politics. Students develop skills and knowledge on the definition of globalization and regionalism, their dialectical interdependence, the ability to determine specific indicators of countries' participation in globalization and regional integration; and also develops skills in analyzing current problems of global and regional development.
