The purpose of the discipline is to introduce students to modern political, economic, social processes and regional problems in the Asia–Pacific region, to develop skills in analyzing regional development processes taking into account geopolitical, historical and cultural realities. The discipline is designed to provide a comprehensive analysis of the prerequisites for the development of the regional system, to show the positions of individual APR countries on international and regional issues. Develops skills in analyzing modern political and integration processes in the Asia-Pacific region.
