The purpose of the discipline is aimed at studying the concept of "civilization", approaches to the definition and classification of civilizations, concepts of the dialogue of civilizations, analysis of the role of world civilizations and their influence on trends in the development of international relations. The discipline is designed to form the ability to identify the role of civilizations in the context of globalization. In the process of learning, the student develops the skills of analyzing and interpreting the influence of civilization on the aggravation of relations between states in the context of globalization.
