The purpose of the discipline is to familiarize the student with modern problems of international relations, which are rooted in political, social, economic, environmental and other problems at a fundamentally new, international, global level. The discipline promotes the development of students' analytical skills in generalizing trends in the development of international relations, identifying specific and common problems in modern world politics, and contributes to the ability to predict the main trends in world politics.
