The discipline gives a general idea of the patterns of behavior of economic entities, the mechanism of economic activity at the micro and macro levels, the theoretical development of modern economic concepts and models. The student acquires practical skills of analyzing the situation in real markets of goods and resources, the price level and the movement of money, identifies problematic situations at the micro- and macroeconomic level, considers the formation and evolution of modern economic thought.
