The purpose of the subject is to teach the structure and elements of electric power systems and networks, their characteristics, electric loads, practical methods of calculating energy and power costs of electric networks. At the same time, it considers the schemes of external and internal electricity supply of production, the division of electricity receivers into categories, the calculation of electricity networks and ways to provide consumers with quality electricity.

1Knows the principles of operation of electrical networks, their main characteristics, the nature of physical phenomena occurring in different modes of operation.
